CHEP CCC has designed and built a reusable, reliable, and repeatable service that allows for convenient, secure, and economical packaging of fresh, presulferized, and spent catalysts. We are proud to offer our customers the highest quality catalyst packaging system found anywhere in the world, with an emphasis on personal and attentive customer service.  To this end, we have implemented a stringent quality control program that ensures each and every container in our fleet is regularly serviced.  Regulated by the Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) and the United Nations (UN), all CHEP Catalyst-Bins are inspected, tested, and maintained to rigid standards, which we have internally set to exceed government requirements.

Each time a Catalyst-Bin returns to a CCC depot, they must go through a rigorous inspection and maintenance program. This program includes:

• All CCC Catalyst-Bins are bar-coded and electronically tracked to ensure accuracy of all shipments to and from our service centers. All scanned data is downloaded to provide up-to-date information of all your Catalyst-Bin shipments. Quick and accurate reports are generated for status on all product
• Top-to-Bottom visual inspection
• Interior cleaning and proper handling of dust and fines and residues
• Removal of any placards/labels
• Painting of exterior of Catalyst-Bins
• Replacement of lid and gate gaskets as needed
• Inspection of slide-gate and cam-bar locking mechanism to ensure a hermetic seal. Pressure test to verify the presence of a hermetic seal for each Catalyst-Bin.
• For exact catalyst weights, CCC Catalyst-Bins can be tare weighted prior to arrival at your job site.
